All Ireland Feile roundup   19/06/2017

Last weekend our U14 hurlers competed in the all Ireland Feile Na NGael 2017.

The first port of call was Mullinavat co Kilkenny for a game v the hosts, followed by a match v St Marys of Carrick -On Shannon of Leitrim.

the Maurs lads were on fire in both  games and recorded 2 comfortable victories. After a barbecue laid on by Mullinavat the lads headed for Callan to be hosted by John Lockes GAA.

Saturday morning Maurs played Callan and in a tight encounter drew 4 points apiece to top the group on lower scores conceded in the 3 games.

Both teams headed for Clonroche co Wexford for quarter final games. Maurs played the local side Cloghbawn and won well to advance again.

Back to Callan then for a meal and disco with our very generous host club
