Club News 18th Sept 20177   18/09/2017

Well done to Ciaran Reddin and the Dublin panel having won an historic 3 in a row on Sunday .

The club is extremely proud to have Ciaran represent us on the county team this year and we are delighted with him and the the Dubs and their successful quest for Sam.

Well done to everyone who took part in our record breaking mini-leagues. The skill, determination and commitment displayed showed how bright the future of the club is. Well done to players, parents, helpers/referees and the very proactive juvenile committee.

St Maur's race night. Good night! Thank you for all who supported the event.

Adult Hurling League Result: St Vincent's 1.12 St Maurs 0.15 Hard fought away draw.

Great results from all the Camogie teams competing in Championships with wins all round. U16s played Peregrines away yesterday and won 4-6 to 1-6. U15s played Lucan at home this morning and won 2-7 to 1-6 while the Under 13s played Ballinteer St Johns away and won 2-0 to 1-2. Congratulations also to the Under 12s on their wins yesterday in Castleknock. Very well done girls. I'd like to give a special mention to Lara and Tess Maritz who played their first ever Camogie game with the Under 16s. We are delighted to have them join us.

U 14 boy's football team had a great win Saturday at home to Robert Emmetts to keep them top of the table .Robert Emmetts started well and attacked Maurs from all positions throwing caution to the wind which caught Maurs off guard with some of the Maurs players struggling to control the ball in the wet conditions.
Half time score was 2-6 to 1-3.Final score: Naomh Maur 9-13 Robert Emmetts 1-4

The Under 13’s girls footballers took to the field again this afternoon under the shadow of the Dublin Mountains against Thomas Davis in some pretty poor conditions. This was the third game of the Championship campaign and although already qualified for the Semi, a challenge was thrown down to the girls to make it three wins in a row.The final score: 2-8 v 2-11, that’s three wins from three and top of the group by a clear three points.

We travelled to Na Fianna Sunday morning and our (U8 Girls) 2 teams played 3 matches against well matched Teams from Na Fianna. Took us a little while to get warmed up, maybe tired from mini leagues. it was fantastic to watch them play Camogie today.
